ATG Ballsack: JMM, Pac, MAB, Morales

Well, Pac has moved up in weight and fought bigger guys, but so has JMM. And in fact, JMM KNEW it was a losing proposition to fight Mayweather (with PBF coming in over the limit on top of everything else) and still fought him. That's impressive. Ranks him tops in my book.

 

Pacquiao loses this only because he's never had to get in the ring with Pacquiao.

 

I think Pacquiao moving up from 122 to 126 to 130 and fighting Barrera, Marquez, and Morales back to back (save a quick showcase fight in the Philippines) in their late 20s/early30s is the single most insane streak of fights I've ever seen.

Nov 2003 Pac moves up from Super Bantamweight to Featherweight to face the lineal Featherweight champ, 29 year old Barrera.

6 months later Pac faces a 30 year old Juan Manuel Marquez.

8 months later Pac moves up in weight again and faces a 28 year old Erik Morales.




but in terms of who has the most machismo in the ring I have Morales edging out Pac slightly.

 

Arguello stayed down in the 2nd Pryor fight, Duran turned his back while standing & unhurt vs Leonard.... both guys are 2 of the greatest warriors ever seen in a ring.... that fight wasnt Morales night, he wasnt allowed to come in at 132 lbs as Roach wanted to drain him, he gave his all in those 3 rds & simply had no strength but the fight should never have been allowed to happen, he was a walking skeleton.

Every fighter has bad nights, Pac wanted out of the fight vs Agapito Sanchez, Barrera wanted out of the fight in the 1st Pac fight, those guys were in their prime & comfortable at the weight, dont be so ignorant to pick out 1 fight from a legend like Morales career when just about all his other fights show a man fighting with passion, heart & utter determination throughout his career.

Pac sure was happy when the doctor stopped it. Try squint his eye to the doctor, basically saying please stop the fight i'm getting my ass kicked in here.

 

yea he was so happy that the first thing he did was smack his gloves, go give **** to SAnchez' corner and then the commentator says "Pacquiao is extremely frustrated"

he was ****in PISSED OFF

 

Are you kidding me? I actually gave Pac props for staying in that fight until it was officially stopped. There's a limit to the amount of injury your testicles can endure.

 

And yet... Morales is still the only one out of all of them who quit to get out of a fight because he knew he was going to lose.

No-one is saying Morales isn't a warrior, of course he is, but to put him 1st out of those 4 is makes no sense whatsoever, it is completely illogical and irrational, because he has quit and the others haven't.

It's the same as me saying that Barrera is the hardest puncher of the four when he has the lowest KO ratio, or saying that Marquez is the best weight-jumper of the four when he's only had a couple of fights at his 3rd weight.

Everyone loves Morales on here and that's why he always does well in polls like this, but the FACTS tell a different story. :deal

 

PS: And what was with the blatant lie about Pac and Agapito Sanchez? Do you think I haven't seen the fight? atsch

And Barrera's corner ended the Pac fight, he was still upright and still in there at the time of the stoppage - which is a world away from making a decision to quit. :good

 

I always thought barrera wanted the fight to be stopped and pac dq'd in round 7 when he had a cut.
