Tex Cobb is a possible mention for top 3, but gee there's been some.

Mc, we're together on this one. The beating that Baer absorbed by the devastating punches of Joe Louis and remaining conscious, convinces me that Max Baer had the supreme concrete jaw EVER !:good

Ross Puritty. Fought Morrison, Kirk Johnson, Rahman, Corrie Sanders, Wlad, Vitali... Absorbed tremendous amount of punishment in his fights and never been down.

I'm sure you are already aware of the extreme controversy surrounding the bout.

i agree with all those calling out Max Baer...he had everything physically going for him..it was just what was between his ears that got in the way. By that I don't mean he was stupid, he just didn't have the headset of a great fighter. If he did, he surely would have been one.

Tommy Farr. Although he fought cagey he still took some big shots from Louis over 15 rounds.

Yeah Definitely Mercer and Purrity . Cobb and Laporte I need to check out.
Heavys only please. So what's the deal with Louis, I know he got floored
plenty but got up moree often than not so considering his heart and
    opposition rate his chin.

    HW only? OK:

    1. George Chuvalo
    2. Jim Jeffries
    3. Mike Tyson

Young Mike Tyson suffered KOs from Douglas and Holyfield, but those were stamina knock-outs. Nothing to do with chin. He hadn't trained. He could have easily got up from Douglas if he hadn't wasted time looking for his mouthpiece. Against Holyfield, the ref stopped him on his feet - again, he was dead-tired.
