I use my eyes to judge fighters.

Wlad's resume is ****. What the hell are you talking about? And why are you bringing up the amateurs? Who gives a ****? A-Force won the Gold Medal.

Wladimir hasn't even mastered every punch, yet he's superior? Vitali is just better. Wlad would have been destroyed in that fight with Lewis. He has nowhere near that sort of resolve. As soon as Lewis landed anything worth of note, Wlad would go into a defense shell or fall on the ground.

He cannot take a punch. He may be more athletic and faster, but due to his chin and his tendency to fold under pressure, he has to fight with a style predicated around protecting his chin at all costs.

And for you to discount James Toney, easily one of the most skilled fighters in BOXING HISTORY, shows where you stand on your knowledge of actual boxing skills.

Mayweather, Pacquiao, Roy, Hopkins, Whitaker, young Klitschko, Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis, Chavez, Barerra, Morales....

Are we counting guys who fought past 1990? In that case you have obvious legends from the 70s and 80s who dragged on.

goddamn, that post is all kinds of wrong. i'm gonna skip all that boxrec **** you quoted.

    "toney had some skills"

some skills? you talk up wlad and say toney has "some skills"? get the fuk outta here right now. that is just a straight up garbage statement. toney was a purist's dream fighter, his flaws weren't skills. there are loads of toney fights on youtube, perhaps you should check one of them out.

he beat Griffin both times, idiot. or at LEAST once, if you know how to score. jesus christ, you proved how much you knew right there.

"If Wlad continues on his current path, he will be held in MUCH higher regard than Toney in terms of all time great status."

oh yeah i'm sure he will. because he's had such classics like toney vs. jirov or one of the greatest chess matches ever like toney vs. mccallum I.

Wlad will go down as the All-Time Most Boring Heavyweight Champion. Or, "The man who single-handedly made heavyweight championship fights not be broadcast due to boredom." He's not an all-time great.

Guys who are: Holyfield, Mosley, Forrest, Lewis, Hopkins, Barrera.

Whoever said Vitali is the more exciting brother is, technically right. But it's like choosing between paint drying and grass growing.

fighters who just fall short, or can be considered by some to be ATG's. I'm still on the edge if i consider them ATG's or not. More than likely i will consider them ATG's but the fighters above qualify more so.

    Erik Morales
    James Toney
