Once more: I am not his hater. This isn't like you and GGG, I don't see red when Floyd's name is mentioned, I actually like him as a boxer and enjoy his fights.

As for your argument: well, its not really an argument, its an incoherent ramble part tres, as per your usual ****nal. Just because he says he is tbe, wears clothing that says tbe, markets himself as tbe and refers to himself as tbe doesn't mean he thinks he is tbe. WTF? If some ugly ***** tells you on the phone she is the hottest woman ever, and you meet her and she is a dog, will you not be upset? Or will you take her home, impressed that she is marketing herself as the best looking girl ever?

Beats any version of Hatton? Yes, absolutely, Hatton's technique was rudimentary, his best win is against a severely weight drained Kostya, with the generous helping of dirty tactics and a pet referee.

Does he beat him worse at 140 when Hatton was prime? Absolutely not. Definitely not by a knockout. Most likely via a very ugly decision, with lots of dirty tactics from both fighters.

A Prime PBF vs Prime Hatton is so far apart in skill in talent that I can't believe you would even think Ricky would last 12 rounds with him.

Yes he would have beaten him worse at 140 as I think PBF was an absolute beast there fresh off his demolition of Gatti. Hatton wouldn't have seen round 8 in that fight. Hell Hatton's own team said he wasn't ready for PBF at 140 back then that right there should tell you something.

Agree 100%.. Hatton would have had it worse at 140..Two different levels.

I think Floyd had more power at 140... That does not favor Ricky.

PBF is underrated at 140 mostly because he didn't stay there long but he looked scary good there. He also had more power and his quickness of his feet was better at 140 than at 147.

Wait a second. Are we forgetting the free shots PBF landed on Gatti while the latter was looking at the ref with his hands apart? Are we forgetting how much that hurt Arturo?

You would have a point if Ricky was a natural 147 lb fighter, but he was a 140 fighter going up in weight. Your relative punching effectiveness does not decrease as you go up in weight compared to a smaller fighter that is also coming up in weight, it stays the same.

Surely you don't think PBF hits harder than Kostya, do you?

Nah, he's underrated because he cherry picked shot Gatti and said "Look at how great I am, I can make shot Gatti quit on his stool".

There where 3 140 champions when Floyd moved to the division, Cotto, Gatti, Hatton, only one was brave enough to accept Floyd's challenge.

Excellent post. This fight is OK if free on cable. Couldn't dream of spending any money on it.
