No, you are supposed to understand that every boxer needs a break. Specially when you are 38 and after canelo maidana maidana pacquiao.

He needs a break after Canelo and Pac? He got hit less in those two fights combined then most boxers do in one fight. Not exactly sure what hes taking a break from, fighting a name? If youre not taking punishment I don't exactly know what there is to take a break from.

Ah but ok... highest paid athlete in the world (and near all time) needs a break while still getting fortunes for fighting unranked opponents. Ok. Poor guy needs a break.

Lol for fighting unranked opponents? pacquiao is unranked? canelo is unranked? maida x2 were easy fights? What are you talking about? tell your boss you dont need your holidays or tell him that you can work 100% under presure 100% of the time, that's plain stupid. Do you think that if you arent punished you dont get tired? what the f.... 30k comments about boxing and you say such stupid things? this "poor guy", being 38 years old, is fighting #1 ww jmw fighters in the world, sure he doesnt need a break, what for? he's 38, he's just beginning his career.

Every single boxer in history has taken a break every now and then. Deal with it. You dont like the fight, ok, dont buy it.

Oh man...he owes nothing to the fans. the same fans that gave him those 275 million. Brilliant logic.

Its like a child that is being raised by caring parents, given the best education and best connections. The child becomes a big time CEO and tells his parents he doesn't owe them anything, because he is self made.

I don't feel bad personally. I like Berto's attitude: ("what was I supposed to do, turn it down?") and I don't pay for May's fights since his fight with Judah. Its you suckers that actually buy his PPVs that need to be fuming. My money will be spent on GGG-Lemieux.

Yes, and that's fair. But he already took his breaks, against Ortiz and Guerrero.

Last time I checked they were the champions of the world. Am I wrong? that's a break? defeating a world champion and taking his belt away from him?

They were Beltholders. Mayweather has been the TRUE welterweight champion since he beat Baldomir.

I hope you didnt spend your money in ggg-ishida. Lol.

Do you know what a commercial transaction is? he offers for money something to other people that can pay for it. Nobody owes nothing to anyone. Just a deal, he sells his fights and people buy it. If you want love, look for a girlfriend, or ask at home for a hug.

Sure, I agree. Still fighting a beltholder is not a break. Berto's fight is hard cherry picking, ok, but people are making huge drama.

They may have had the belts, but they were B and B- opponents for a supposed Best Ever.

This is where you are fundamentally wrong. He owes his success to his fans, many of whom have to save up to buy his PPV. I am not sure why you refer to me about the love thing, I have plenty of that and don't need a fighter to provide it for me. I just want him (and you) to understand that it's the fans that made him into a superstar, and it's their hard-earned (or welfare, as evident by some posts on this site) money he is flaunting.
