And this so called great fighter who calls himself the greatest wants to leave and go out with a complete BUM fight? Man, he could have atleast fought Khan or someone that's a tad bit more interesting, but a guy who's got a 50% win percentage over past few years? :patsch

After september, boxing will rise once again. These dark days will be behind us.

....cause he hasn't already been fighting for 21 years, so where were you the past 21 years? If you actually been watching boxing that long then criticising Floyd couldn't even part of your vocabulary, the boy been beating champions since before the internet and cell phones!

I thought you said Floyd obviously isn't retiring and this was a stay busy fight?

Beating hand picked belt holders is not beating world champions who barely defend their titles ..

I did say that and it's called a theory, meaning not a proven statement. Do I think he'll go for 50? Yes, but I think he will retire first and let anticipation and excitement build. One thing is for sure , he will never be under a network or promotional contract again, that's a type of retirement in itself..

...cause Genaro Hernandez who was undefeated at 130 was a cherry pick

...cause Diego Corales who was undefeated and most feared fighter at 130 was a cherry ala mode.

...cause J.L. Castillo was a wuss at 135, a juicy cherry for Floyd to pick

...cause Arturo Gatti, who had resurrected his career at 140 and the only titlist brave enough to accept Floyd's challenge was not worthy of the fight though he was a bigger star than Floyd at the time.

...Zab Judah and Baldomir - cause one was not enough, whichever one Floyd fought he got criticized for not fighting the other. Solution: fight both and claim the lineal and IBF titles. oh cause reigning champions in the weight class above you are cherrypicks if your name is Floyd.

...cause Oscar De La Hoya was not the biggest name in the sport, champion at 154, and highest earner of his time? Yeah thats a cherry pick especially for a guy who has never came in the ring above 147 before....huge win for Pac though.

...cause Ricky Hatton was not undefeated and a champion at two weight classes when he challenged Floyd for all the marbles. Yeah thats a cherrypick....huge massive win for Pac though.

...cause Shane Mosley fresh off beating Margarito like he was daddy didn't bumrush Floyd after the Marquez fight and challenge him on National Television. Everybody said Floyd scared but when he accepted the challenge it was somehow downgraded to cherrypick....big win for Manny though

...cause Floyd wasn't sitting ringside with full intentions of fighting the winner of Berto-Ortiz. At the time Berto was undefeated and Ortiz had 1 loss. therefore making a fight with a young lion, the future of the sport, is cherrypicking

...cause Miguel Cotto was not the champion at 154, bigger, stronger, rejuvenated and coming off multiple knockout performances including Margarito. Yep the current middleweight champion is a cherrypick

...cause Alvarez is not massivley popular, bigger, stronger, younger, and considered the future of boxing. cause Floyd fighting young lions is cherrypicking....Canelo is a huge challenge for everybody else though.

...cause Guerrero didn't earn a shot by moving to welterweight and beating two top contenders in impressive fashion. He was impressive and got his chance whats wrong that? Oh yeah, its Floyd so its cherrypicking, but for KeithThurman its the biggest win of his career.

...cause Maidana didn't completely tool "Lil Bro" and proceed to call out Mayweather on Live television. Maidana had a big showing and earned the fight. I think Floyd was correct to pick Chino over Khan cause as we all know Khan aint done Sh-t!!! Oh cause Maidana is a cherrypick for Floyd but a tough fight for everybody else..

--cause Pacquiao isn't considered #2 or 3 P4P and long believed to be the only guy who can beat Mayweather. Finally in 2015 Manny agrees to random testing, shows up on May 2nd and gets owned. Not Floyd fault he scared of needles otherwise he could of got owned 2010 instead!!

Do you have any recommendations on a fighter for me to religiously hate on? Broner has become so irrelevant that it doesn't seem worth the energy, although watching him get humiliated was a highlight of my lifetime boxing viewing.
Khan talks all f'n stupid but he has taken on reasonably tough challenges after getting embarrassed so I begrudgingly respect that.
I guess Deontay Wilder is my leading candidate for the time being unless you can recommend an even bigger phony.
    BUUUUUUMMMMMM SQUUUUUAAAAADDDDDD!!!!!!!

Not bothered to do the rest but some of those guys are decent choices and consider the fights back then weren't ppv and the fighters were very active back then

You can try Thurman, Spence, or Crawford, I'm sure they'll be around for awhile
