    tyson was a great talent, but, ali was a phenomenon. when he was young, he was amazing. tyson if he only had a brian, could of been as good as ali, probably better

    You don't even have to have Mike in the top 10 at HW. If you don't have Ali in the top 2 there is something very wrong, and to me he's a lock for #1.

    an example of greatness is coming in as an underdog , sometimes huge underdog and winning..... not look great beating up guys the odds are 2-1 he wont last a round

    The aura of ATG is waaaay to tainted. In my opinion, the era a guy fought in should play into his greatness. That is what makes being an ATG special. Tyson never beat anyone worth their weight in ****. He lost to Holy and Lennox. If he had beat those 2 ,maybe I would consider him a top Heavy but to me he beat dudes that were nowhere near good. We can speculate as to how he might have faired against, Jack Johnson, Jack Depsey, Joe louis, Rockey Marciano and on and on, but the reality is he never fought anyone remotely close to any one I mentioned. Therefore the title of ATG should not be bestode on Mike Tyson. The most overrated fighter in the history of the sport.

    Tyson would be lucky to be in a top 10 ATG HW list. Despite that, I still believe him to be one of the greatest fighters head to head
