Indeed there was a proper display of punch resistance last night and the two men involved are numbers 3 and 4 on the list, probably moving up a place or two after that brutal exhibition.
Clearly the demonstration of superior punch resistance in this recent fight validates your analysis then.
And it also validates a theory that many on this board are loathe to accept, and that is that Glass Jaws exist in MMA. The punches landed in that fight SHOULD "have KOed anybody" and yet both men were standing and neither has ever been properly KOed, while one guy on the undercard got lamped by a glancing blow over the ear. All Chins are not created equally and the main event was a clear example of that.
Duly noted. However, his Chin appears to have finally cracked and as we all know, once they crack they don't come back. That being said, he does deserve a mention because getting starched at an advanced age doesn't erase prior displays of epic punch resistance.
Exactly. Some fighters can take a shot, others can't. All chins are indeed not created equally - some are iron, some are glass. The sooner fans accept this, the better.
Keep dat **** in the boxing forum hippie, or in the Lounge....or Chuckys going to be testing yours
:huhHe's being threatened with a ban for talking about chins in a thread specifically created to talk about chins?
