Benn is a bigger puncher than McClellan and never even came close to stopping Malinga. Jackson gave Tate his best shots and couldnt stop him. Clinton Woods survived war 3x with Glen Johnson etc etc.

Roy was doing the impossible stopping these guys. No one else in modern boxing history has done this consistently like Roy did

"Taking someone's best shots" refers to getting hit and coming back.

If you go into a coma, you didn't do that.

I'm not trying to be crass, but touting McClellan's ability to take a punch is sick. He couldn't take a punch. He literally all but died the first time he took a big beating in a fight.

That's not being able to take a punch.

If I was trying to think of people who could take a punch, guys like Gerald McClellan and Prichard Colon and Cleveland Denny wouldn't make the list.

Their bodies literally COULD NOT take the punches. I don't even know how you're trying to argue this. Whatever.

Roy Jones takes on Michael Spinks in the quarter finals, and whilst things are going oh so well for him in the early stages, he started to get more and more ambitious and that's where things folded. Spinks lowered his Jinx on Roy and that was all she wrote.

Spinks is through to the semifinals, with Archie Moore.

Y'know you're the one who brought up durability whilst comparing power? I even know how you're trying to argue this. Whatever.

How can you defend saying he isn't? Its really not close

Again I ask who stopped and knocked down more guys considered to have iron chins? Who did it in more spectacular fashion? Who did it equally with both hands?

The most powerful punchers of all time get their reputation off of just 1 display like Roy had vs Tony Thornton. Roy has about 7.
