ATG Light heavyweights vs Max Schmeling

I don't see the argument for Charles getting the win unquestionably. Can't really hurt Max and he's dealing with a very fast HW who holds every advantage over him. Unlike Walcott, Schmeling is as good at taking the lead as he is at countering.
I think it's very reasonable that Charles has to resort to defensive tactics and losses on points if not gets outright stopped eventually.
Geriatric Louis had him in trouble in the 10th, Ray almost had him out, Layne and Walcott got the better of him.
Of course Max wasn't always consistent either but at his best he was better than all those guys. Charles could win but I don't see the "definitely" part.

 

Maxie beats most of em most of the time. Not impossible for Charles or Moore to win, but I simply don't rate them as high as I do Schmeling when it comes to heavyweight.
