There's resume's are not that different

Both ****, but Povetkins is good considering his standing, Vitali's is not at all good considering many claim him to be a top 5 ATG and head-to-head monster.

Neither is anything special, both are fighting in a terrible era where most contenders are overweight..

Wawrzyk was a much better World title defence than Vitali's against Charr. Needless to say Povetkin looked much, much better doing the biz as well in their respective fights. I think it's quite telling really that Vitali is never calling out Sasha but instead wanting to fight much worse foes.

You're almost as bad a troll as him to say the gap isn't huge. Please, you may as well say Haye has a more impressive resume than Ali, or Sam Peter had a better resume than Frazier (that one isn't actually too far off, though, Peter and Frazier had fairly similar careers, the only big difference was the dominant champ in the return performance was too good to lose to interim champ in that match).

Anyway, Povetkin has beaten at most 5 top 20 HW's in his career, (Donald, Byrd, Chambers, Chagaev and Huck) of whom Donald and Byrd were so far gone they were borderline top 20 at best, and Chambers Chagaev and Huck were close fights to varying degrees. Only Chambers and Chagaev were top 10 fighters, and they were at the lower end. And no, a completely shot Rahman is not in the top 20 at the time.

Vitali has beaten at least 19 top 20 HW's. None were really close fights, certainly not so close as Povetkin's 3 best wins. During that time, he beat 2 fighters regarded as the 2nd or 3rd best of the moment, Sanders and Peter (both of whom are considerably higher on the ATG list than Povetkin), another top 5 fighter in Adamek, and another 6 top 10 fighters. I'm being conservative in all these estimations. I really shouldn't even post on such an absurd troll blog, I admit, it was so outrageous you got me. Good job I guess, to author, your stupidity is so breathtaking you made me stoop to respond. I feel dirty.

It's arguable. That being said, Vitali isn't the one who's going to hammer him.
