25 - 22 KO's - title reign, i am a fan of Jou Louis, but he did fight fighters that wouldn't be top contenders now. i Agree with your assesment on the Klitchsko's but before you were saying about someone that they were great in their Era's, i was making the point so are Klit's so being great in your era isn't that great of an acheivment if your era is weak.

Heavyweight fighters back then fought once a month and were around 190lbs , he beat some very good fighters including Billy Conn, I dont think either brother has beaten anybody of that Calibre.

Am not arguing the fact that Klitchsko's are better than Louis,

Louis is far greater-Top 3 HW of All time

The man was a pure puncher, unlike Foreman or Dempsey who used just force to get KO's, the Brown Bomber Used Timing, Accuracy, Speed and Power to put his opponents to sleep

Well considering most people don't even have floyd ranked in the top 50 ATG lists and they already have pac in their top 25, how does beating a man who is not even considered a top 50 ATG boost pac up 15 places?

Either floyd is a top 25 ATG now or he is not. If Floyd is a top 25 ATG then pac beating floyd really propels many into the top 10?

Now if floyd is a top 25 ATG then beating pac where does that put him? Surely it should also boost him up 15 places to?

Beat Floyd... Pac would be somewhere between 15 to 20 ATG.

Beat Martinez 154.... Pac would be in top 10 ATG.

Pac right now between 25 to 30 ATG.

why do people hold past fighters in such high regard?

athletes have improved immensely since those days, just look at athletes from other sports (sports that have specific records to be broken)

it seems that every year a new record is broken - swimming, sprinting, marathon, lifting etc... it shows that athletes are getting better and better so why should boxers be any different, its just hard to see them getting better and better cos there are no specific records to be broken as a guide.

Id put both manny and floyd in the top 10 for sure

past fighters were good but present fighters are using the most up to date technology and supplements and have an 8+ weeks training camp

He may sneak into my top 25. When he retires I'll think about it more and probably shift him around a lot.
