how is Marquez the better fighter? past his prime Barrera was one or two points waway from beating him and even put him on the canvas, a prime Marco KTFO Marquez.

Barerra's accomplishments are clearly superior so you have to say him.Marquez outclassed the 2007 version of Barerra though.

That's pretty much even. Barrera's resume is more stacked though, and Marquez should hold a win over John.

Pac hits harder, but MAB hit plenty hard in his prime at jr. fw to knock anyone out, and he was more accurate than Pac. People forget how long MAB has been in this game and how good he was in his best days. He had already been fighting 13 YEARS by the time he faced Pac for the first time. This is a pretty easy choice.

Based on your comments you'd think Barrera was twice his age when they actually did meet. Both have been fighting professionally for the better part of 20 years.

I'm not doubting that barrera could punch, he certainly could but it is pretty clear to my mind that pac is a better puncher, he hits as hard, as accuratly and has much better speed to get the punch of, and frankly how hard barrera could hit at 122 matters **** all in a fight with marquez seeing as he is 126 to 130 fighter.

Barrera was a little over the hill when pac beat him, however not that far and pac would have been him prime for prime IMO

As for a prime for prime fight between marquez and barrera it in my opinion depends on how marquez approaches the fight, if he keeps it at distance and uses his jab and counters on barrera he will win a tight decision, if he gets in to a brawl and goes machismo barrera wins a UD
