ATG: Who Ranks Higher? Ali or Louis?

    to help us in making our list of top 100 ATG, i think it would be a good idea to make this poll to see where to place these boxers in the ATG list.

    i rank Ali higher than Louis

    The 2 greatest HWTs of all time & both make my top 10 p4p list but Ali was greater IMO.

    Ali... The careers spanned a long period for both. Ali, was under the continued pressure of a very tough era. Both had lay offs... Due to seperate wars, yet Ali was well on his way to defending the title for a long period, against harder oposition, than the 'bum of the month club'.

    People remeber Louis... yet, not too many of his bouts are a common talking point amongst the average Joe's.

    'The Rumble'.. 'Thrilla'.. 'FOTC' etc, are the best examples of Ali's harder battles.

    Not to discedit Louis, his career was remakable.. as was his integrity. Pity that integrity was not to be reflected by the I.R.S.
