to help us in making our list of top 100 ATG, i think it would be a good idea to make this poll to see where to place these boxers in the ATG list.

i rank DLH higher than PBF

Asero... I think you are ****ing with everybody, 1stly you rank Hagler over Duran p4p, now DLH over FMJ p4p.

Mayweather is a better boxer than DLH & even beat him despite fighting at DLHs best weight & being the smaller man tho he was prime & DLH wasnt.

Mayweather will always rank higher than DLH & rightly so but if it was ever in doubt, that doubt has been well & truly wiped away after that embarassment vs Pacquiao.

For that alone, Mayweather will always **** over DLH on p4p lists.

    PBF, clearly the superior fighter

De la Hoya had the better resume and better constructed career.

You can marvel at 'and 0' records, but unless you taste defeat, you cannot redeem yourself and thus your greatness is undermined, IMO.

I think Mayweather at 130 may have been marginally better than Oscar was at any of his weights, but Oscar accomplished more overall and maintained his ability more as he moved up to Welter(at junior middle he was just ok imo)

Mayweather above 130 doesn't really interest or overly impress me to be honest, i preferred him as a more active, balanced boxer-puncher.In the vast majority of his fights abve 130(other than against the totally overmatched guys like Gatti) he has pulled a half-assed, tedious safety-first schtick that isn't going to make me forget most of the great defensive fighters of the past.

I shy away from making comments like this, but deep down I kind of know it's true. I think Mayweather was a very talented fighter, but in ATG terms his resume is dire. I would still rank him above Oscar, but I am running out of reasons why. Oscar's resume is better and that is the main factor in determining greatness IMO. PBF but not by too much.

I honestly feel Oscar's done more as of now, but it wouldn't be too terribly difficult for Mayweather to eclipse him.

On a head-to-head basis, both at their prime are pretty evenly matched. Floyd might have a slight edge in skill, but Oscar has a far superior resume.

I would've loved to see how Floyd stacks up against Trinidad, Vargas and Hopkins. We just might see how he fares against Pac.

Oscar always fought the best but so did George Chuvalo.
You have to beat the men that are put in front of you. Mayweather is streets ahead of DLH, this should not even be a debate, no contest in my eyes.

Mayweather should be higher. He has beaten more dangerous fighters and has always won the big fights.Oscar is very good but has lost some important fights.

I have Oscar higher. Floyd never fought the best (Corrales is debatable, I personally think he was always overrated). Oscar, although not winning hardly any of his biggest fights, he at least faced the best he could at pretty much every division.

Floyd scraped a victory over DLH, Lost to Castillo in their first meeting, dominated an overrated light-welterweight at welterweight and he fought the likes of baldomir, mitchell, etc. Fights he couldnt lose

Floyd undoubtedly had the ability and opponents to be a top 10 p4p of all time but he didnt have the attitude or heart

DLH ranks higher because he faced the best (even though he didnt always win) and won world titles at six weight divisions

    Oscar, the better resume.
