to help us in making our list of top 100 ATG, i think it would be a good idea to make this poll to see where to place these boxers in the ATG list.

i rank hagler higher than duran

Duran is likely the best ever LWT.... Hagler is possibly the best ever MWT.

Duran gave him a decent fight when past his own best vs a prime Hagler.

Duran added the WWT, LMWT & MWT titles to become a 4 weight champion when past his own best.
Hagler never went above MWT ever.

Duran has over 100 victories tho some unecessary losses.

Duran is better p4p than Hagler IMHO.

Duran for me. Although we saw very different fighters in Leonard between the Brawl and his fight with Hagler, the common opponent partially puts Duran's greatness into perspective. I do have a bias towards smaller fighters and can see how Marvelous Marvin's middleweight domination would lead to a very high ranking. My #2 P4P ranking of Duran isn't going to let Hagler ever jump ahead, though.

I don't think there is a sensible basis for rating Hagler higher really.

Duran's career pre-Leonard with wins over Buchanan, DeJesus, Palomino, Marcel, and all of the lightweight contenders he beat is basically as impressive as Hagler's overall career IMO.

Both make my top 4 list in their prime divisions, but Duran accomplished more as he had considerable success at otherweights,so Duran for me.

Well he was a wild boy, hungry life a wolf, a brilliant reflex, his hands of stones could leave cracks in the pavement, and in his prime, I often thought his view was to a kill.....
