A genuine champion? Really now. and Mayweather is just a titlist? Well that's funny because I don't remember Mayweather being handed a belt and told to fight a kid from the local soccer team and looking like **** while fighting him.

    Also, you spelled titlist wrong.

because the ratings had always been biased against smaller fighters

Mayweather certainly isn't as well liked, and he lacks the career defining fights that Morales has with the likes Barerra and Pacquiao. But he's faced quality opposition and hasn't had the misfortune of suffering losses to guys he probably should have beaten (e.g. Morales' losses to Raheem and Diaz). Given the dominance he's exhibited throughout his career, and the fact that he's produced higher quality results after long layoffs, I've gotta cast my vote in favor of PBF.

They're both great. I just think Mayweather is a little better- and a little higher as a result.

and for good reason. Morales has earned the respect and glory of being an all-time great

In fairness, Morales was regarded as champion at 122, and his partial unification at 130 made him the man to beat at that weight too. But Mayweather has been the man at 130, and was champion at 147.

But you're right...Referring to Mayweather as "just a titlist" is a woefully inaccurate statement.

You're the definition of a blind, repetitive, and most of all biased boxing fan. I try to sit down and discuss even with hardcore fans sometimes, but you are something else. Your polls are always the same, popularity contests with the sole purpose of ripping Mayweather.

You're not interested in what people have to say, you have your mind made up and you look for opinions and poll results that will further enhance your efforts and give you ammunition to discredit Floyd some more.

Here you are, talking about how Morales has earned respect. Your own thread, though, has nothing to do with the fans' respect. It's supposed to be based on facts, not who is more respectable and likeable to most. You have very little credibility.

Floyd maybe rated top 3 p4p of 7 years. Sweet Pea is top 3 p4p for only 3 years.

    ergo, Mayweather > Sweet Pea..

But it does not work that way.
come'on, Morales is greater than Mayweather.

Ouch! Carles is my kind of poster. Objectivity is a rarity here.
