This needs explaining though. Pacquiao hasn't actually defeated Marco Antonio Barrera? As a Barrera fan myself, I've tried to erase it from my memory, but this is going a little bit far.

Besides Maidana, who Demarcus Corley gave a tough time to, what JWW contenders has he giving all they can handle? Cano? Who nobody knew who he was until they day of the fight? You think Morales would give Bradley or Khan all they can handle? Do you think he would have beaten Mattysse?

Morales of course. Compare Morales' resume with Floyd's. Floyd's very very skilled and that's what he will be remembered for, but the opposition he faced compared to Morales..

Floyd's skills are ATG but his resume is an all-time-shame looking at the fighers he could've beaten with his skillset.

 

I don't think Morales beat MAB either, it depends how you score fights to an extent but the first fight is largely considered a robbery. I had MAB winning that 1 widish because of his affective aggression, he was the 1 backing Morales up in the exchanges for the majority of the fight. If you focus on clean punching, ie amateur style judging merely counting punches not looking at how much they effect their opponent then Morales has a slight case for the first fight.

Well maybe, but bare in mind Mayweather did try to fight Hamed but Hamed thought MAB would be the easier fight. Beating a 34yo DLH that had 20lbs on him, a bigger Castillo twice, Corrales and even the version of Judah he faced aren't that far off

Then look at actual dominance, ability against different styles and longevity and then Mayweather wins by a landslide.

 

Not to mention, Floyd is using his elbows illegally.

 

floyd has a better resume than morales. Get over it. Anyone who knows anything about boxing will put floyd ahead in the ATG list, 99 percent of esb don't know **** about boxing, and polls like these become a popularity contest.
