ATG: Who Ranks Higher, Floyd Mayweather Jr or Erik Morales?

Mayweather, he's done more and is a better boxer than Morales.

morales list of conquers wc include barrera, pac, and a hell lot of good guys like jr jones, ayala, espadas, chi, chavez, not to mention being a lineal champ twice. this is better than gatti, hatton and jmm @147, and big show

 

When all is said and done, Morales will be elevated higher in the ATG rankings with his win over the rising Manny Pacquiao. His win on 2005 was underrated given Manny's superstar status was too much low back then. A lot of experts ranked his win over Manny 3rd behind Chavez (3rd title win) and Barrera (legitimate ATG) way back 2006/2007. He will be ranked higher given these circumstances now. :good

 

I like EM but he's a step below Floyd in terms of greatness. Also, Em has been koed and lost several times.

 

He be KOed too if he fights the one who KOed Morales.

That is why there is OSDT, it is a convenient way to duck while blaming the other guy.

 

Atleast Floyd is winning now, albeit barely.

 

Who KOed him? The last time I know was that he rose on occasion so many times and has beaten all significant opponents he faced. Opponent selection-wise, Morales did the standard of greatness more than most of the current 'greats' today. Dela Hoya is comparable but lost to most significant opponents he fought against.
