First time I think Joe actually deservingly wins this one. He does have a win over a past his prime ATG in Hopkins, but Hopkins still good enough to be one of the elites. Wladimir, alot of good wins, but no great fighter in sight.
One guy has no great wins cause he has no one to fight or he beats everyone rather easily and one has no great wins cause he didnt want to leave his comfy little island until the coast was clear.
Very interesting query. Both made a ton of defenses against less then stellar competition. But at least Wlad is fighting everyone there. Calzaghe was content on defending the WBO...arguably the weakest of all belts based on their rankings.
