This is coming from an extreme Toney fan, Chavez is far higher from an ATG standpoint. it's not even close. Toney's career had the potential to be greater had he been on an appropriate trajectory but from 94 through 2003 his career was basically "Bolivian" :yep

He then won the CW title then immediately went to HW as a fat guy overachiever but nothing was remarkable about his career at HW so it has to be discounted.

lol ain't it remarkable for a 5.10 former middleweight to beat Holyfield, drew with Rahmnan , beat Oquendo, arguably beat Peter, beat Guinn. You tell me who has done that :?

James Toney, at least he won his big fights fairly and didn't require controversies/robberies.

Old Holyfield no, he should've lost to Rahman and Oquendo, and was dominated by Peter in the second fight, The Guinn win was good, but we all know what type of fighter Guinn is. I don't much consider his run at heavyweight or LHW, I love Toney but his best work was pre-94. Except for the minor run at CW where he usurped Jirov's belt.

OK, so now we know Scar is really Bobby Czyz. And all this time I thought he was Teddy Atlas.
