The hilarious thing is James Toney isn't even an ATG. He was a sure first ballot HOFer before the 2 failed steroid tests but he was never an ATG. Big difference there.

he may well be a borderline atg in acehviements but the ped use denies him a place in my book.

    Chavez

But Pernell ranks above Chavez by far, there is great distance between the two.

Whitaker will always rank above Chavez. There is no comparison. :deal

Why has what Chavez did at SFW and LW been deleted by fighting Whittaker?
I would say overall Chavez has a greater resume

    Chavez.
Toney was just as good of a fighter but we are talking ranking and that includes resume.

That was even worse than the Whitaker/Chavez decision.

Chavez and it's not even worth debate.

Sometimes there's no thought put into these threads and I'm guessing it's simply to bait the especially challenged. At least two have bitten so far.

Oh really? So we should just ignore it and act like it didn't happen? :patsch

His resume up to that point isn't one of an ATG anyway. Is it very good? Sure. But not ATG.

No he doesn't. You're also forgetting what Whitaker did below and above 147. Whitaker clearly has a greater resume and beat Chavez when they were both prime.

Whitaker rightfully ranks higher than Chavez.

Chavez fought about 50 - 60 cab drivers.
