Which among these boxers should be rank higher. To many, the two have a weakness opposition compared to other all-time greats

Not tough at all. Larry Holmes. Both equally as dominant in their respective divisions really, but Holmes had better competition to contend with I believe.

I think his talent, although beautiful, was emphasized by the poor competition he was often facing.

you're not wrong. his most notable opponent was likely rosendo alvarez, against whom he didn't look nearly like his old self. his comp was weak or average at the best of times. he lacks a signature win but is possibly the greatest at his weight since jimmy wylde

Overall, Lopez is the most complete fighter I have seen in the last 25 years. He fought the best fighters in his weight class and walked through them with ease. Not taking away anything from Larry--Lopez simply was perfect. This comparison is quite random

Well many of you will be shocked:shock: To hear that i could go either way on this and if forced to pick id have to go with Holmes. Although HTH id take Lopez.

Although there resumes are similar in many ways, Holmes is resume is a little better and he is also my #3 Heavyweight of All time Behind Ali and Louis.

    Lopez 30 ish Atg
    Holmes is top 25

Really? You think Lopez would win despite the size disparity? ...I don't know if he'll be able to land that uppercut on a Heavyweight matey.
