But Hearns would have gotten to Manny's chin pretty quickly. If Cotto and Margarito reached Pacman's chin, Hearns would have easily.

You could argue who has the better ring achievements (especially in light of SRL's fake lhw title), but you cannot argue who beat the better fighters, and that is the most important factor.

It has to be Leonard for me.

Do you consider it unfair to subject Manny to fantasy match-ups at 147lbs? ...I think his best performances have come at Welterweight.

On the one hand, ATG rankings tend to be somewhat subjective. On the other hand, SRL KO5 Pac.

Some of the posters on ESB must be like 15!

Has the OP ever seen Leonard fight?

Nah, I don't think it's unfair. I think the perfect weight for Manny would be 140, I think he stands up to almost anyone who has ever fought there, but in light of the Cotto and Margarito performances, we can probably no longer say it would be unfair. I'd give him a fighting chance against most great welterweights I think.

Of course his best performances have come at WW, that because he is fighting **** fighters compared to the HALL OF FAMERS at lower weights. Before he was fighting Barrera, Morales, Marquez now he is fighting guys that couldn't even hold their jock strap in clottey, cotto and margarito.

People like to say pac has got so much better when in fact he has just fought easier opposition especially since he can make the WW limit without losing anything.

 Yeah, Cotto and Margarito are ****.

That's why between them they hold wins over Shane Mosley, Joshua Clottey, Zab Judah, Carlos Quintana, Kermit Cintron, Antonio Diaz...

    Yeah, they're "****".

    What a ****ing mongoloid.

    Look at his name, Popkins.

He started watching Boxing when Mayweather/Mosley was signed, and now has a big crush on the winner.

They are **** in respect to the hall of famers pac has fought in the past. There is no denying that. What has cotto done in his career that makes him a great fighter?, what has clottey done in his career that makes him a great fighter? what has margocheato done is his career that makes him a great fighter?

Pac has fought great opposition in the past now he is only fighting good opposition at a higher weight. Yes i say they're **** compared to the calibre of fighters pac has faced at lower weights. You *******s will deny this all you want.

I ticked the wrong box ( stoopid frickin newb )

Pacs many titles/belts are very diluted when you compare the achievements of SRL and the era he fought in - in the 70,s early 80's you had to beat the guy who beat the guy if you know what I mean - today we have so many sanctioning bodies , so many additional weight classes that fighters can hold a belt , go undefeated and still not have to face a mandatory challenger or unify a division with another belt holder .

Really fighters like Clottey,Hatton and Margarito just dont sound anywhere near as good as Hearns,Duran and benitez - even the very controversial win over Hagler ( arguably the best middleweight of all time ) came after a 3 year lay off , and even if he did get a gift it was still a bigger achievement than any of Pacs wins.

    Cheers
