It means that SRL's win over a prime Hearns is better than any win Pac could/does have. When you factor in Duran and Haggler it becomes laughable, furthermore, aside from resumes, I think at 147 SRL beats the dog **** out of Pac. Pac HAS NEVER seen the combination of hand speed, power, and skills that SRL brings to the table, hence this is kind of a no brainer.

The fact you would say he "almost KO'd" PBF demonstrates your level of objectivity and boxing sense. He didn't even knock him down, much less almost KO him.

right now i have to go with leonard. it is a lot closer than many of these pac haters have it though. maybe ray did beat higher quality opposition but many of his wins were too tight to seperate himself from his best comp. manny, on the other hand, is laying waste to his toughest opponents and completely outclassing them.
you cant say hearns or ray would easily beat pac at 147 because pac has yet to even be challenged there. we dont even know how good pac could be because whats out there right now is too easy of a walk. floyd would be the best test available but what happens if pac puts may to sleep? that would mean that pac has destroyed, not just beat, the best fighters in three divisions with hardly losing a round. i dont care how weak these divisions are compared to leonards era, no one should be doing what pac is doing in the manner that he is doing it. there has got to be at least one guy out there who can at least keep it close against pac so we can see all that he can actually do.
ray was a very special fighter who happened to come out on top in tight fights with great opposition. right now manny walks around the ring like a man amongst boys. that has to count for something.

If getting hit and almost getting knocked down means a knockout to you then you must think marquez got knocked out 4 times in 2 fights.Look for this thread to be bumped by a ******* when mosley gets demolished.

I don't get why people say floyd was almost knocked out, at best he would have been knocked down. The fact that they say this, probably has more to do with how hard mosley hit floyd, they were surprised he could take such a flush shot. So in away I think they secretly crediting his chin.:deal

I have always said Leonard would murder Pac, I have always said that Leonard ranks well higher than Pac, so I can't see how my head is anywhere else other than firmly atop my shoulders, and occasionally nestled between your mother's plump, juicy thighs.

Anyone saying Pac's resume is better than SRL's is an idiot.

Anyone saying Pac would have a prayer against SRL at ww is an idiot.

But your point is still bull**** anyway. Pacquiao is not a natural ww, and the vast majority of his opponents were not ww's, so the fact that ww/lmw/mw/smw/lhw/cw Thomas Hearns could beat them all means nothing.

As I said, Michael Spinks demolishes Thomas Hearns and everyone on Thomas Hearns's resume, but that in itself doesn't prove that Spinks is a greater fighter than Hearns, because Hearns was no natural lhw and neither were the vast majority of his opponents.

It's not very complicated, to be honest.

Here's for you: A quote from Emmanuel STeward!

On where he believes Manny Pacquiao ranks amongst all time greats:

“Among all time greats, I would say he has to be in the top dozen, not so much for what he did not so much for what he did in the last couple of years, it’s the earlier part of his career that lasts about two or three years ago. When you keep fighting against the best continually, and that’s what I rank greatness on—performance against the best, not just all of these records and eight or nine championships. To me that doesn’t really mean anything. You got four different organizations, maybe five depending on what you want to respect, and every five pounds is a different weight division. But the fact that he’s fought some of the best, and most of the guys were future Hall of Fame guys themselves. He has performed on a top level and only lost one fight and knocked out that opponent, which was Morales, twice. Just to have this longevity, I would have to rate Pacquiao in the top dozen fighters of all time.”

I still have Sugar Ray Leonard ahead of Pac at this point although I don't expect him to be by the time Pac retires.
