Mab reinvented himself, showing he could box with the best of them as well as go toe to toe. His trilogy with El Terrible is what does it for me, both of them in or close to their prime. That first fight is one of the best I've ever seen, it definitely took alot out of them and I don't think they were the same after it either. Even still, MAB was able to school Naz and was shocked at what I was looking. Tito is an atg too, just not on MABs level. Tito was too one dimensional, and MABs best wins were several divisions above his natural weight. Tito's best win was questionable against ODL and not even close, while MAB's best wins were close, but classic each and everytime he faced the only man alive to whip both Pacman and Mayweather in a ring, "El Terrible" Morales.

  3. Trinidad wins this

Barrera - Mckinney, Hamed, Morales, Tapia, Ayala, Juarez... lost to marquez, barrera and khan

Trinidad - Campas, Carr, CAMACHO, OSCAR DE LA HOYA, PERNELL WHITAKER, moved up to beat David Reid and Fernando Vargas, moved up to beat Joppy... lost to wright, HOPKINS and ROY JONES!

really it comes down to wins over Hamed and Morales vs Oscar and whittaker. Pernell > Hamed. Oscar > Morales. Trinidad beat 3 future hall of famers (camacho, oscar, pernell) and 3 gold medalists (reid, oscar, pernell)

Whitaker, Blocker, and Camacho were past their primes bro. The Oscar fight Tito at best deserved a draw, but most definitely not a win. Imo Vargas, Campas, Joppy, and Carr were his best wins. Sweet Pea was done by then.

Barrera was done, shot by the time he faced Khan. He gave a good account of himself vs Jmm, great technical fight.

    MAB by a mile.

Tito didn't beat De La Hoya despite what the judges thought, Whitaker was shot, hadn't fought in 14 months and was a total coke fiend by then. Reid was over rated then and too inexperienced to have been a threat. Camacho was past his best, too small and achieved nothing as a welter.

    Barrera

I've always found Trinidad to be a little overrated by most.

No he wasn't. Naz was basically finished by the time he fought MAB, a shell of his former self. He could no longer punch hard or spar because his hands had been broken so many times. The power was all gone. He was also 2 stone overweight 8 weeks before the fight. If he somehow managed to beat MAB, he only had a fight or two left in him at max.

trinidad defended the welterweight crown 15 times.

he was 21-3 in all title fights and his resume is superb.

    maurice blocker
    camacho
whitaker (3 controverial losses...this was whitakers legit 1st loss also gold medalist)
    oba carr (undefeated)
    yuri boy campas (undefeated)
    delahoya (undefeated goldmedalist)
    vargas (undefeated)
    david reid (undefeated gold medalist)

held titles in 3 weight divisions and his 3 losses are to 3 hof'ers.

beating naz was huge...beating morales was huge too.
