ATG: Who Ranks Higher, Marco Antonio Barrera vs. Mike Tyson???

I voted Tyson based on the account that I like him better.

 

Barrera. His resume is far better than Tyson's. And that's pretty much the end of that contest.

 

...Welll...Pacquiao didn't beat Tyson, so Barrera?

 

I am going Tyson, he saved Heavyweight boxing. But if I had to really analyze I would give it to Barrera, he beat better fighters.

 

I love young Tyson, but Barrera's resume is superior.

 

but..but tyson knocked out can after can..doesnt that count for anything?..dude Barrera's opposition defeated far, FAR out weight tysons youngest champ reign..too many stupid people are gonna vote for Tyson on this based on his image..just sad..

 

Barrera by a wide margin... but I won't be surprised if by the end of this thread the fanboys make it a close contest.

 

I think Tyson based on his dominance during his reign plus the fact that he has huge huge influence on many boxers that follow after his era.

I say this is one of those quandary type comparisons where u have one guy with the better resume and the other guy with the popularity with fan/mainline average person alike on board. Tyson rose above the sport, MAB excelled inside the sport. Tyson impact was such that his "personality" outshines MAB's resume
