You can stay in one division and be p4p elite. Those aren't mutually exclusive, the two things really have nothing to do with each other. ("p4p" as a concept never meant anything about climbing up in weight)

Nobody ranks higher in mythical terms. It's not real. When they fought, Hagler won, so he was the better middleweight. Hearns was better at other weights because Hagler didn't fight at other weights. That's it. You can't go further than that because it's not real

Because when i look into the resume, Hearns is really at par with Hagler, SRL and Duran.

Cuevas, Benitez, Duran, Hill, Leonard - all in the span of 12 years and five weight divisions

Hearns was the Multiple Weight Classes World Champion while Hagler was not. Hagler was the Undisputed World MW Champion while Hearns was not. After comparing these two legends nobody ranks higher than the other IMO.

I honestly think it's flip of a coin.

Gun to head I would choose Hagler simply because we know Hearns can be stopped.

It is hard. Hagler was right there fighting all the greats Duran,Hearns and Leonard and having all those defenses against tough guys. Hearns fought just as many greats, the same one's as Hagler Duran,Leonard and Hagler, and also Hill, Cuevas and Benitez. I would pick Hearns and then Hagler beat him with a think a great style to beat Hearns. Even. But I picked Hearns because of resume.

Hagler. He has a slight edge in my eyes cause he won when they faced each other.
