Morales. Wins over Pacquiao and Barrera are better than anything on Floyds resume.

    floyd

    both great,

but ERIK is the man, nothing but respect for him

  7. Morales' trilogy with Barrerra was a classic. His trilogy with Pacquiao was unecessary. Though his performance in their first fight was incredible. He beat rodney Jones, Paulie Ayala,, Junior Jones, Wayne Mccullough, and Kevin Kelley. Not exactly the greatest competition but definitely respectable. His losses showed him in a light that does not shine of an ATG.

Mayweather has the highest grossing and biggest boxing spectacle under his belt against De La Hoya. He's fought some decent opposition in Hatton, Judah, Baldomir, Corrales, Castillo, Gatti, and Chop Chop(when he was a P4P fighter).

Based on the fact Mayweather has never lost opposed to Morales' multiple embarassing defeats, Mayweather all day.

I think you people are on crack. Maybe I am. Maybe you guys are talking about some other Morales than the one I'm thinking of, and you're probably talking about either Floyd Sr. or Roger....right? Please tell me that's the case.

    Er what?

Losing to MAB - no disgrace, 2nd fight majority thought morales won, 3rd fight was either a mab victory or a draw.
pacman twice - everyone knows he was shot...no disgrace in losing to pacman in any case
Raheem at 135, a weight class to far, on the slide
David Diaz - Many thought Morales beat him even though he was still shot.

Mayweather needs to start fighting legitimate 147 pounds. It's a disgrace how he's fought only Baldo, Judah, Mitchell?, Hatton at this weight class with the quality of opposition that was/is available to him.

And i actually like mayweather, but fighting **** like that (granted baldo was the champ at 147) does him no favours.

    Anyway MAyweather does rank higher

Floyd is top 35 material. Morales, as much as I respect the guy & am a fan of his, isn't.
