In 20 years it would be better. It is hard for boxing fans to be fair or any sports fans for that matter. When you like someone as a hero or role model you really support them. I understand that, but it still does not make it fair.

I want to see a poll which asks boxing fans how many years they have been watching boxing, and then compare those polls to how they voted. There is a connection I am sure. How would a boxing fan in his 20's be able to know much about Hearns or Chavez, especially if he were in his early 20's. You have to be at least 35-40 to remember Hagler/Hearns and all the hype around it, and Hearns/Leonard the first fight was almost 28 years ago. So that amount of years means many younger boxing fans will not know much about Hearns or Hagler.

I agree, that's why I hate polls. You have a bunch a *******s who vote and yet I've never see them posts.

Anyone can vote, but not to many can back up what they claim, especially *******s.

All it proves is that boxing is infested with a specific kind of nut-hugger that will go away once Pac retires or is past his prime.

As exciting and good Pac is for boxing, it will also be a good day (sadly) when he leaves the sport because he will take the lot o you back to being phiggers.

Hearns while a great fighter lost his big fights. So I go with Pac in terms of ranking and lagacy. But if they fought I would give it to Hearns right hand KO Pac.

I see Hearns with a better ranking. He fought better guys. No one is going to argue that Benitez,Duran,Hagler,Leonard,Hill are better than Morales,Barrera. Hearns fought the best guys in the last 30 years, that is the problem with Hearns, he just happened to be in an era where other greats were and also, Hagler always wanted guys to move up and fight him. Just on that fact he had the advantage. The Hagler fight was great and Marvin put out the ultimate effort.
