Jones has more talent but he cherrypicked. Pacman used to fight them all but now he is handpicking.

handpicking is still handpicking. If he cannot fight them all at welterweight why handpick and have agreed upon weights? Then he should fight at 140 and prove he is the best there. At 147 is he just proving he needs the right style and a little help from a weakened fighter to win. I admit Pacman is great and greater than Roy. I just think he should move down and fight at 140 or move up to 147 and fight Shane Mosley. Cotto is a little banged up now and Pacman will pick him apart and stop him in the mid to late rounds-probably about the 9th. As for Roy. He was the biggest handpicking/cherrypicking fighter around.

Jones but not by much, if and when Manny beats Cotto he is above.

roy for me right now. If Pac beats Cotto than i'll have them tied.....and if he beats Floyd i'll have him ahead, but i think it's unlikely.

Just taking a look over Pacman's resume it's not as good as you think it is.

Pacquaio has De La Hoya (past prime but still good), Barrera x2 Juan Manuel Marquez, Tied with Juan Manuel Marquez again, Erik Morales x2, Oscar Larios (I doubt Larios even belongs on here because he's not that good at all)

Lost to Medgoen Singsurat, Erik Morales, Marlon Carillo.

Pacquaio has a lot of bums on his record because no one else is worth mentioning. Don't get me wrong I like Manny but his resume is very overrated.

PAC. I put more emphasis on resume than anything else.

Jones. At no point was Pac as dominate as Roy Jones was in his prime. At no point has Pac beaten a fighter as great as Hopkins. At no point is Pac a stylistic H2H nightmare like Jones was you would pick many fighters in history to beat him and give him a boxing lesson.

At no point that any bantamweight champ been rated in the lightweight division

pac comes all the way from being a flyweight champ to an elite welterweight today

Roy went from 154 to HW and won a title there which is more impressive IMO.
