He still is top 15. Just because a fighter loses when hes old it doesn't change what he accomplished when he was young.

    Jones is slightly greater.

    Both are better than Mayweather.

And how many Pascal or Pavlik types did Jones beat at LHW in his prime?

I can name some. Lou Del Valle. Eric Harding, Reggie Johnson, Virgil Hill. Oh and don't forget Jeff Lacy, Clinton Woods and Antonio Tarver.

Yes Hopkins was good, but he hasn't beaten as many former or future champions as Roy Jones Jr in as many weight classes.

    Roy Jones Jr.

Bernard was never p4p #1, Roy was.
    Doesn't have the weight jumping.
Similar class of competition when weight is considered.
Won their only meaningful h2h match-up.
More dynamic and athletically gifted fighter who delivered KOs and had altogether better attributes. When he was in his prime he was close to untouchable.

Once Roy stops ruining himself and Bernard retires, it'll probably shake out in Roy's favor.

Yeah, you missed the point, no surprise there. I used the same logic you used with B-Hop(who is one of my all time favs) and used it with another fighter Cal fought in Roy Jones(my all time fav, who Cal did not look impressive beating at all). So if you're judging that Cal looks amazing because Hops is looking great now, ...... Cal would then look worse for how Roy is looking now right? Just flipping your logic. I don't think either is relevant. Especially because I had Hops ahead on points. Am I knocking Roy? maybe a bit, he's my all time fav, I really wish he would retire, but really my goal was to poke a hole in your logic. Which was very easy.

You couldn't poke holes in a spider web with a sharp pencil kid :deal

While RJJ may have declined, Hopkins hasn't - so which way do you want to twist it to suit your agenda?

Calzaghe didn't look impressive beating RJJ?

Are you kidding me? He toyed with him and carried him for the last 6 rounds.

Did you actually see the fight or did you just hear about the KD on here?

Was it a right or left hook that RJJ KD'd Calzaghe with? :hey
