That’s because you don’t know how to debate.

On a P4P basis, beating an old version of George Foreman, isn’t a level above Roy crushing Virgil Hill.

You’re only looking from one perspective.

Roy was an Olympic JMW and a former MW. He went up 2 divisions and destroyed a LHW who went on to win a belt at CW afterwards.

Roy had to burn muscle in 2 months to fight Antonio Tarver, after 50 fights at 35 years of age.

How was beating guys like Mercer and Holmes etc, a level above?

    It wasn’t.

This debate is obviously too much for your mental capacity to cope with.

    Just sit this one out.

Evander became undisputed champion in CW and HW and he is still the only fighter ever to be undisputed in two divisions.. Roy natural athleticism was second to none.. There is no Dariusz Michalczewksi for Evander because he fought everybody in a great HW era.. Bowe, Lewis, Tyson, Moorer, Mercer etc..

Look at your other 10,000 posts of 10,000 words over so many years of your life. All the same. It's very scary.

    We all know the truth.

Spinks was the top dog at light-heavy and heavy. Lineal, undisputed or whatever.

But yes it's agreed what you say by anyone with a brain cell because it's the facts.

I almost instinctively and immediately thought Holyfield. His tenacity, aggression and total lack of fear for any opponent he ever fought and he fought some incredibly powerful and down right destructive fighters who take years off your life in the ring. It's for this alone that I edge it to Holyfield.

Jones was more talented and athletic and we may never see his kind again for a generation at least but, when the chips were down and the going got tough, Jones Jnr. had a tendency to fold.

Holyfield on getting hurt or buzzed or put down would fight back even harder.

In the later stages of his career aswell, Holyfield was nearly always at a significant weight and size advantage and still fought his absolute heart out.

Lineal doesn't equal undisputed. Why'd you even come up with that when the other poster mentioned Holyfield being undisputed at CW and HW?

How about you just not go overboard on everything and realize when you are wrong? You said Spinks was lineal, UDISPUTED, or whatever. Like I said, Spinks was Not undisputed at HW. No need to get pissy.

If you haven’t read what I’ve written, you can’t know what I’ve said.

Stop whining and add to the debate.

It’s also a fact to say that he lost 2 fights to Bowe and he couldn’t beat Lennox.

Yes, his resume is stronger. But their wins are comparable.

He had a great win over a faded Tyson.

He had a great win over Bowe.

On a P4P basis, they are no better than Roy’s win over James Toney.

The rest of his other wins are comparable to the best of Roy’s other wins.

If you can’t see that, then you don’t know anything about the sport.

Thanks. I also enjoyed the tone of it and I encourage others to not only read and enjoy it but to flood Roid Jones threads with posts of a similar tone so I can enjoy those ones too.
