    Tommy Hearns quite clearly.

    Arguello was a top fighter though! One of the hardest punchers in his weight class ever.

    Read Toledo Springs' 'The Gods of War' in which he systematically ****yses both fighters, and more besides, against an established set of criteria. The most authoritative and brilliant source on who are the ATGs I have read.

    I love Hearns too, but anyone just closing the book on this one with a sniff and announcing Hearns as the winner by a mile needs some education.

    Alex was a great fighter its just those two aaron pryor that takes a little luster off his career. He was dominated by pryor.

    Nobody dominated Tommy in his prime even in losses
