    How are people still not getting Boxed Ears? Look at the mother****in' post count. The guy is a part of the furniture.

    Winky fought the tougher opposition, beat the better opposition, but he wasn't nearly as dominant or as consistant as Joe Calzaghe. The two obviously go hand-in-hand, though.

    Depends on what you value more. They're in the same tier, and it probably just comes down to who you feel had better ability at their peak. I go with Winky.

    Calzaghe never beat a great fighter in his prime. Winky did it twice and he dominated.

    Undisputed at two weights? He didn't even win a title at LHW and only fought one live body be it a very old one.

    Calzaghe 'inspiring', hardly most the time

    Two weeks is a bit more than short notice when you are no longer fighting at the weight because you can no longer cut it there and haven't had a genuine competitive fight for years or won one....

    They both had close fights that could have gone either way against Hopkins. Difference is Winky was the much smaller man and had to fight with bad cut that opened in round 3. And he didn't get dropped.
