Who ranks higher between these two underrated fighter as more attention is given to trinidad, de la hoya, mayweather and mosley...

winky has better resume but tszyu can make a case as top 3 140 pounders of all-time...

You make it sound like 4 loses to 2 is a huge discrepancy. Ronald. Among other things, never quit on his stool, never KO'ed, twice beat Mosley, dominated Trinidad, should of gotten the decision over Taylor.

Pretty much the same level for me. Neither were really great fighters in the grand scheme of things, but were both very good.

You can add a prime McKart X 3 to Winky's list. These days people tend to forget that Bronco would have made a damn fine world titlist if not for the Winky problem. There was a reason they fought 3 freaking times.

I'd agree with S_P on the fact that neither were really 'great' fighters. Very, very good fighters, and had great attributes such as Winky's defense, but all-round I wouldn't regard them as 'great'.

Kostya was a very good fighter aswell and one of the top 140's, but Winky for me had that little extra level that allowed to progress to an elite fighter at a stage in his career, something I wouldn't of really ever regarded Kostya as. World class yes, even upper-tier world class but to get to elite you need that real special win and Winky had those types of wins, such as dominating Trinidad in such impressive fashion and beating Mosley twice.

Trinidad only fought four times there and one of those times he lost a one sided decision to Winky. and DLH only has a good win against Vargas thats nowhere near enough to rank him ahead of Winky.

well it really depends on criteria you are using, i put a lot of premium in over all ability...thus in a head to head match-up, i feel 154 dela hoya and 154 trinidad would beat 154 wright...

i really amazed on how people put wright's win over trinidad as in the same mold as his wins over mosley...trinidad is almost a shot fighter in 2005
