ATG: Why would you Rank Floyd above Pacquaio and Vice Versa?

The difference is, I could trust Mayweather to get into battles with the likes of Leonard, Duran and Hearns.

I don't expect Pacquiao to beat any of these fighters. I expect Mayweather to at least beat Hearns.

Another difference is that IT IS EXPECTED that Mayweather would have beaten the likes of Tszyu, Barrera, Morales, Tapia etc.

It was unexpected when Pacquaio beat Barrera, DLH, Cotto. Now it seems like everyone expects him to beat bigger men.

thats a good point but you cant blame Floyd for it, there hasnt been many fights , if there is any where he would have been the underdog

its a hard decision but whichever one you rank higher cannot be more than 5 places ahead, Pac won more fights as the underdog and has the wins over MAB, Morales and JMM but Mayweather is considered the greatest 130 pounder is undefeated and is one of the greatest defensive fighters and h2h

Monzon is the greater middleweight, I never said he wasn't. Look what Hops ****ing did above middleweight though, while Monzon was content on fighting the same guys he'd already beaten decisively, Hopkins went above and beyond what anyone thought he was able to do.

Jumped 2 divisions, won the lineal title, then won it again as the OLDEST champion in HISTORY.

    Means a lot :deal

I totally agree, at this point they are essentially handcuffed together so wherever you rank one the other one will be right there. Personally I think MAB I gives Manny the slight edge, but how the rest of their careers play out will really be the determining factor.

To be honest it doesn`t even matter, both of them avoided their toughest challenge which just so happens to be possibly the biggest fight ever vs each other, they deserve no rank. pacquiao beat the better fighters & floyd is the better boxer & I would pick him in a h2h but its all irrelevant because both are shitbags.

Neither will ever be ranked with the true greats, they guaranteed that by their 2009-12 actions, let them suck each others dick over who might be the best & stop giving them respect they don`t deserve by mentioning their names... they are just about history now & good riddance.

I chuckle at the mugs that are so willing to forgive & forget that do place these dicks alongside the true greats, they flat out avoided each other & gave the fans the run around in order to face lesser fighters while pretending they had any intention of giving the fans the fight they all wanted... it doesn`t get any lower or wrong than that, they definitely do not belong anywhere near these other legends.
