The only legends that are looking for a fight are MAB and Morales and it would be disgusting watching a fake like Alex Arthur get a win over them.

Lets put him in with a good live oponent, and let him prove that he isnt a paper champion, who inherited world champion status after never beating a world class fighter. Saying that now the 3 most dangerous super feather (JMM, Pac, Guzman) are all lightweights now, id say AA will have an easier time. Lucky him.

I know, it would be up there with Hatton beating an old Tszyu & Calzaghe beating a 43 year old Hopkins...;)

    Hypocrite.

    Not really exactly the same.

Barrerra has lost his last two and Morales five of his last six. Tszyu and Hopkins had both beat the number one rated fighter in their division in the year prior to fighting Hatton and Calzaghe.

MAB and Morales would probably beat Arthur though.

Warren will obviously be bringing in a pound for pound top 10 contender.

Put whatever spin on it you will Cobblers.

At the end of the day my post was spot on. i.e. its OK for English & welsh fighters to fight past therir prime fighters, but when a scotsman is rumoured to be doing the same? its mock outrage time.

I stand by my original stance, its OK for Hatton & Calzaghe to feast upon the scraps of past their prime fighters, but when a scotsman does the same? Its a case of SHOCK! HORROR! OUTRAGE!

    Hypocrites.

You lot will be SO releived though that Arthur wont get his hands on Barrera, cos I KNOW how much it would have hurt the Hamed fans(who are basically all of you) if Arthur beat Barrera, so I know the news that Barrera wont be coming over will please the Arthur haters on ESB. Cos IMO the Arthur haters are bricking it just now, they can call him a paper champ but if Warren delivers the right fight, Arthur could be a legend. Im loving the fear. Loving it.

I agree somewhat with Barrera. He looked great against Marquez and fought a good fight against Pacquiao. If Arthur beat him, I would place that win extremely highly. It would be a massive upset, even though Barrera is considered past hisbest. I think barrera would win even now though. Easily as well.

But if it's Morales...No chance. Arthur should get no credit at all for beating such a washed up fighter. I'm a massive Maorales fan and have pretty much all the available fights out there, and it was so sad seeing him against DDDiaz. He looked old, tired and weak from the opening bell. A shadow of the man he once was. If Arthur beat him, it would mean nothing. You an't compare a fighter who is with no doubt about it, shot, to Hopkins or tzyu. These guys were old but still elite world class. Tszyu was P4P #3 and Hopkins was P4P #4. Morales means nothing at this stage.
