of course he was uncomfortable,he fought ten rounds with a big azz cut over his left eye that was dripping blood into his eye.man i tell ya
Well, he will be damaged goods sometime. But I hope he gives us at least three or four more good efforts till then.
George Foreman said it best ... "you can only go to the well so many times" Now granted, Miguel is a fighter and has skills but when you're constantly getting rocked that takes a toll on you. I agree with Atlas ... psychologically he's damaged ... Given the way he was beat down by Margarito for the course of those rounds and being discouraged by Margarito taking all of his punches he is a different fighter. His cloke of invincibility is gone ... he's very vulnerable ... it showed in his last fight.
Cotto is being set up for failure in reture for a big payday and a chance to discredit Mayweather's p4p status. If Cotto loses, his chances of fighting Mayweather aren't happening and he was be in the role of an opponent - like Hatton.
Teddy is damaged goods. He has been so far off base so many times in the most important fights one has to wonder if his whole outlook on the sport is seriously flawed. You cannot argue with success but you can argue with Teddy.
I want to see it for myself if Cotto is damaged good ... its hard to say after his last fight because he fought a former champion and a damn good fighter in his own right.
But when hasn't it turned out to not be the case ... Teddy Atlas has some year put in the game and has a bit of credibility. He did train a pre primed Mike Tyson
