Trainer-commentator Teddy Atlas has put Alexander Povetkin's promoter Kalle Sauerland on blast, labeling Wilfried Sauerland's son as a spoiled rich kid ("a wolf in sheep's clothing") and telling Bokser.org in a video interview that he may be done training fighters completely.

Atlas is a dick. Sauerland is a dick. Povetkin is surrounded by dicks and isn't doing himself any favours.

Povetkin would have been better off going with Kevin Rooney than Atlas.

I bet Atlas is getting ready to get fired, and he is just saying this **** to make it look like he had just gotten Povetkin ready for the big fights, and then he got the axe.

That way he can make himself look good no matter what happens.

Atlas doesn't know what the **** he's doing getting involved in boxing politics. Stick to training Povetkin and STFU. Honestly don't why anyone would hire this guy other than for the publicity. Atlas is a miserable sob and his conspiracy theorist mind can only have a negative effect on a fighters camp.

There is a report out that Povetkin has fired Atlas! Perhaps he has been reading some of the posts at ESB?! LOL! Look what Atlas did to Grant!

I do not like Atlas but he is absolutly right about Sauerland! For a fighter it is impossible to work calm with an american trainer if the fighter is under contract with a german promoter.

Look what happend in 2004 with Wladimir and all the bad talks about him when he decided to work with Steward.

Povetkin's poor performance in the ring is something Atlas can't blame on anyone else. If he wants to talk about politics, promotors, and so on I would suggest solving this problem first.

Sauerlands are as bad as any other promoter, but Povetkin looks horrible ever since the teamed up with Shitsradamus, and pulled out of the Klitschko fight rumors say due to Atlas himself. He needs to go and write a new book or something, in the meantime IMO Jeff Mayweather could do wonders with Sacha.

But there must be personal problems too behind Povetkin's recent downslide, there's no other explanation.

Sauraland got him where he is, Atlas is desroying all that. I think Atlas will try to get Povetkin to sign with a promoter he is friends with.

Atlas becomes trainer, fighter has troubles. It happens over and over. Sauralnds dumbest move was allowing Povetkins team to hire Atlas.

That arrangement was ****ing doomed from day one. I dont think I read a single positive observation from any fighter, trainer, promoter, or journalist on the decision of Povetkins team to have Atlas be his trainer.

It was pretty much universally regarded as a bad idea by EVERYONE that comprises the boxing community

And lo and behold, it turned out to be a disaster. Povetkin has looked worse in each fight, he went from being a potential name opponent to an also ran, Atlas had essentially undermined his career by saying he isnt ready to face Wladimir, and he has soured his relationship with his promoter, who were actually doing a very good job promoting him.

I dont think there are any more ways Atlas could have ****ed him over.....
