He just KO'd Seldon in 4 in an exhibition match in philly (its over on the scene)...for some reason I feel like this is erroneous news because I heard stories months ago about this exact same scenario happening.

I just read that myself....says while it was supposed to be an exhibition, there was no headgear, etc...and Seldon was dropped three times.

It also goes on to say that Povetkin's management didn't even know about it, until after it had happened. Teddy Atlas set it up.

    Strange...

This news just hit me like a fly to my arm. I'm as surprised as, hey there a fly on my arm...
No serious, KO'ing Seldon is meaningless and it's just an exhibition... His last meaningfull fights were against Oquendo and Kingpin, he got KO'd by both of them...

If Povetkin's only problem was the contract the Klits gave him then why take an exhibition tune up? Obviously something is wrong with Povetkin mentally, he is suffering from lack of self-confidence.

Damn, Povetkin needs to learn more about respect...
Beating up a dead body isn't going to help :D

If it comes down to 'lack of self confidence' in fighting the brothers it's beginning to look like it's highly contagious for high ranked HW's.

I am not sure if this fight recently happend, because I heard rumors of something like this happeneing a few months ago...except in the other story, it took place in russia, and the guy he fought was "a top 15" heavyweight. i recall the KO being in the same round too, which is why Im wondering if this is old news that just recently hit the press..

A number of outlets, mostly European, are reporting that Alexander Povetkin fought an exhibition match against Bruce Seldon, using 10 oz gloves, and no head gear, with 3 judges and a referee. This, is apparently Atlas's answer to getting Povetkin ready for the big-time. Seriously, I've never seen a promising career derailed so fast.

Where is Brick Top and his cronies? Sounds like Teddy staged an ol' fashioned unlicensed boxing match.
