To make matters worse, I think he's beginning to doubt his own abilities...

Still gonna see the Barrera fight?

Or in some cases WHERE. One guy that was screaming loudly was talking about what the NEVADA Boxing Commision would do! I tried to use that as an example that so much **** was flying around people should calm down and wait for the facts to come out. Obviously things were getting pretty distorted. Of course we know how that went.

    Absolutely.

I have never been a fight before, and I'm dead excited my first one will be to see my favorite fighter of all time. I will be nervous on the night.

    You tuning in?

That would have been a hard pill to pass if, Margarito had killed someone.. what do you tell the fighter's family , I didn't know my wraps were loaded, that my trainer job blame him.. That **** is not going to fly.

As far as anyone knows, the facts from what I've heard is that Capetillo placed a moistened piece of rolled up gauze on top of gauze that was dry.

I'm trying to put the pieces together here......but from what I gather, what Capetillo did wrong was put a rolled up layer of humid/wet guaze inbetween the first and last layer on Margarito's fists.

......If this is the case, there's a strong chance imo that Margarito did'nt know that Capetillo planted humid gauze on top of the gauze he already had on his hand.

......the key here is that the wet gauze was'nt placed on Margarito's bare skin, so there's a possibility he could'nt feel that the gause was humid.

One thing that is clear to me is that people around this forum should speak with the facts, and stop with this nonsense that Margarito tried to get away with having plaster in his wraps......
The people on FNF's did'nt help matters either tonight as they went as far as to mention that Margarito tried to get away with fighting with bricks in his hands.....which is so far from the truth.

Nobody is doing the sport any good by exaggerating what was in Margarito's wraps........

Shame on the commentators from HBO and FNF who are not telling the public and pointing just to the hard facts......which are that what has been found so far to be in Margarito's wraps was a rolled up piece of humid gauze, and not the plaster that they're making it out to be.

Both may be against the rules in wrapping a fighters hands, but a piece of rolled up humid gauze is far cry from hard plaster!

If you all want to call Margarito a cheater, I dont have a problem with that, but I do have a problem when the facts of his wrong doing are getting blown way out of what is the truth.

Just as I mentioned in my post......a rolled up piece of what they're calling wet (likely just humid) gauze inbetween layers of dry gauze.

People should stop with this nonsense that Margarito plastered his wraps......that is'nt the case.
If the Margarito team tried to cheat, it was'nt plaster that they used, because even weeks after it happened the reports are that the confiscated material feels firm but not hard like plaster.

I'm all for getting to the bottom of this, even it its through speculation, but stop with this plaster nonsense.....the CSAC has already stated that was'nt the case.

Plus, Margarito did not train much.

I meant to bet on Mosely because of the odds and rumors of his not training, but got back to the casino too late! Damn, would have made some big money!

What the **** does Teddy Atlas know. The WBC has already said he's innocent and I'm pretty sure they know more then Teddy Atlas about wrapping fighters hands.

Yeah, Teddy will make some new fight predictions. I still remember when Teddy predicted that his fighter, Kirk Johnson, would knock Vitali out, then Vitali harpooned the whale in the second round!!!!!!! LOL! - that's how Merchant put it!

That is an awesome way of dancing around and avoiding the truth. of course they werent responsible for wrapping their own hands...but I dont see any quotes from them or jose stating they wouldnt notice if someone put an illegal pad in their wrapping. You can word anything differently to make it sound better...nice try though.
