"I think there is a little bit of optical illusion there... Those fights can be very, very, misleading and that’s what I mean by an optical illusion," -Atlas

Nothing to argue there. De La Hoya and Hatton wish it was all an optical illusion. We'll see if Mayweather can prove it was an optical illusion. And I trust Teddy Atlas because he is always right. Now where did I put my blunt...

Weight wasn't a factor in their fight. Hatton weighed more than PBF did on fight night. PBF doesn't use his size and strength to beat people he uses his skill. Not to mention PBF tried to fight Hatton back in 2005 at 140 but was turned down by Team Hatton saying they weren't ready. Blame Hatton for the fight not taking place at 140 not PBF.

When you say things like this you reveal yourself to be as bad as the Pac fan boys you're admonishing in the other thread. Ridiculous of me to think you could discuss Mayweather objectively.

Only Atlas could state an opinion I agree with and still **** me off.

Damn straight PBF is THE #1 PFP fighter in the World today.

I can't wait until he KO's Pacquiao. And he will.

Pac beat Hatton at his best weight where he had never lost and he did in spectacular fashion scoring the knockout of the year.

And he didnt needed Joe Cortez help to do it:deal

Someone who officially retired and hasn't fought in nearly two years is boxing's pound for pound number one. No wonder people are sounding the death knells for our sport.

After he wipes the canvas with JMM who many people have as #2 and many people think beat Pac we will see.

I expect PBF to toy with JMM and then KO him. And I know he will do the same to Pac.

Hatton could have easilly fought Mayweather at 140 but his camp said he wasn't ready.:hi:

Hatton outweighed Floyd anyway...not to mention Floyd started at 130...so the weight division was irrelevent.

It's not like Floyd started at 147.

    Pac beat-up a shattered..post-KO'd Hatton.

Floyd was the FIRST to destroy Ricky.:deal

You will conceded Hatton turned Floyd down at 140..right?

MOST of Floyd 39 fights were at 130 and 135.

Yup, and I've criticised Hatton for it. Doesn't change the fact PBF beat Hatton at a weight that wasn't his best. Don't start getting paranoid.

When Hatton held the WBA/IBF titles and PBF the WBC at 140, Hatton was offered the fight.
