Atlas was just on ESPN2 discussing the JMM-Bradley fight. At the end of that convo, Skipped asked him who would be the better opponent for Floyd between Bradley(if he wins) and Garcia. Atlas then said he would go with Garcia but doesnt think he has much of a chance because he's "too light in the fanny".

This goes back to what I keep saying about the double standard and Floyd being penalyzed for being too good. Garcia routinely is bigger on fight night then Floyd. Ive met them both in person and Garcia looks naturally bigger but yet he is viewed as too light in the fanny strictly because Floyd's skillset is so good that it allows him to be huge guys.

Its true even with fans. No one wants to see Floyd-Garcia. No one. Everyone thinks its a mismatch while if anyone else from 135-147 fought Garcia, it would be a must see fight. Floyd is a mistmatch even though at worst they are the same size and Garcia is probably bigger.

When you talk about Floyd's opponents its always Canelo, Sergio, Lara, etc. No one his own size. Anything else is unacceptable. Then ofcourse there is another opponent in which Atlas said he would love to see Floyd fight but he knows wont happen. Its the same guy alot of crazy fans wanna see and thats Triple G. Again, Floyd is probably smaller than Garcia but he has to fight Triple G? It makes no sense. You cant keep penalyzing someone for being too good.

Thing with Garcia is that I'm not sure there is a single aspect of Boxing he is better than Mayweather at. At least Canelo was significantly bigger and hit much harder.

Doesn't matter cause at the end of the day you can't hit what you can't see.

If all this BS is to be taken seriously then why does Floyd do everything in his power to avoid Paquaio aren't they same size?????? Floyd even retired in tears once to avoid him ROFLMAO

Neither Garcia nor Bradley has much chance against Floyd at all. But Garcia at this point has proven himself to be a better fighter than Timmy the Head, so I suppose you could say he gives Floyd a better fighter.

Floyd would wipe his ass with Bradley.

That's good because Garcia is NO way in Mayweather's league. It would end up being an extremely brutal, bloody beatdown and Garcia would never be the same fighter.

I don't like them but they are both champs so both bring something to the table. I would like to see both get beat so at least one of them would be walking away with a loss

If Floyd keeps calling himself the best, then he should be held accordingly to a higher standard of competition. Garcia is a good fighter but he brings nothing to the table to threaten Floyd in any way unless Father Time hits Floyd hard. Floyd has proven himself to be "the man" at 154 lbs. It makes perfect sense for him to move up and fight GGG, who is a good fighter but not a proven world beater by any stretch.

Also, it doesn't matter that Garcia is "bigger" than Floyd on fight night, growing into the Welterweight division naturally usually takes a fight or two if it happens at all. That is what Atlas meant. Garcia hasn't proven that his attributes will carry up.

Its called cutting weight and rehydrating. its this new thing that boxers do, look it up. Floyd walks around at the weight he fights at. It is very conceivable that Garcia walks around 155-160. So the notion of Danny being bigger is not far fetched.
