That Wlad has fought 50 or so fights which is twice as many as Peter and against much better competition.

Looking forward to seeing this fight unfold..i am not fan pf Wlad or Iggy...jsut of boxing..if anything, i like Wlad more than Iggy..but I see this as a very live potential for an 'upset" here. Iggy is much better, and more crowd pleasing, than Byrd. Byrd was and is a boring overrated paper champ.

Brock has good enough power to provide the KO of the year vs. Zuri Lawrence didn't he? Austin had good enough power & skill to plant Sultan on his ass, arguably twice.

Of course Brewster was shot too...............:-(

Man you guys are too easy to embarrass. :yep

I hear what your saying, I do. But let me give you some stats on Wlad, you can check them up if you dont believe me or that. Wlad has been down 11 times in his career, by 6 different oppenents, panell, Brewster, Sanders, Williamson, Peter, and Purrity, he has been TKO'd 3 times by two journeymen and a club fighter, in all 3 of those matches he would of been knocked out cold if the ref wouldnt of stopped the fights. Wlad has been severely rocked by jabs and partially blocked punches in his career, and even floored by them. If you watch the first Lamon Brewster fight, fast forward to the 3rd round, this is even before he gassed out in the 5th, he was hit with a stiff jab that buckled his legs and nearly dropped him, he had to hold on to Lamon just to stay up, which lead to Roy Jones to make fun of his weak chin.

So what, if Austin has knockout of the year, look who he floored. Austin didnt even get a chance to land on Wlad remember, Wlad layed the journeymen out in the 2nd round. You aint embarrassing me, just yourself.:yep

Not that far fetched a pick. Could happen. Atlas has covered Ibragimov in the Olympics and has followed his career.

Watch Ibragimov/Whitaker. Sultan dominated a 6' 8" fighter with speed and accuracy. Not out of the question he could surprise Wlad. He actually has the speed advantage, even though idiot Dan Rafael said otherwise.

I respectfully, but very strongly disagree. A glass chin is EXACTLY what is meant by a guy who gets knocked down a lot EVEN IF HE GETS BACK UP! Who is the most famous glass-chinned fighter of all time??? Former Heavyweight Champion Floyd Patterson. Patterson would get up again and again in his fights after getting knocked down. That's EXACTLY what earned him the the title of glass-chinned. You're off on this one, Wiseguy. Glass-chin DOES NOT mean you go down and necessarily stay down.

I honestly thought SP was going to stop JT - maybe my expectations of SP are greater than yours.

I don't consider WK superman, he was trying to come back from a career low point vs a hard punching Peter. I thought it was a pick 'em fight. Give Wlad some credit.
    that was another poster

I haven't been very active in months, but Punisher is most likely one of the many :tired Wlad haters on here.
Most fighters have severe problems w/pressure. Wlad has done remarkably well for a fighter with so many flaws  Many fighters have had problems w/the pressure of Wlads punches - Byrd, Brock, Austin, Brew.

I generally like Atlas, but c'mon this was one of Teddies "look at me" picks.

I'm limited by what I've seen in youtube of both fighters(I don't collect Heavys, I get bored) Most footage of Klitz is him being Koed highlights. I don't think he can improve that chin. Most of the shots that hit Klitz were coming from the left hand. That Southpaw stance is the key.

Glass chin = When you get hit... It's over... No recovery.

Decker..i thought SP was going to KO Toney in 1 and 2..i am stating that his stock rose after the 2nd Toney fight because of the marked improvements.....remember, the 1st was highly disputed, which is why we had the 2nd fight...which was a clear cut vistory for SP
