    Teddy's response when asked about the decision in the Broner vs Malinaggi fight. He went on to say, he thought Paulie's reaction in his post fight interview was obviously a reaction from his own personal emotions because he was involved in the fight, and obviously couldn't separate his emotions, but he clearly lost. He went on to say that his scorecard reflected the judge who had it 117-111.

    I'm not much of an Atlas fan, but I couldn't agree more with his statements regarding the fight. What's always so interesting to me is how subjective the scoring in boxing is, and how in many cases, the judges scorecards are so vastly different. Thoughts.

    @Barrera

    I honestly don't know the answer to that question, but I do think if there's more judges there's more controversies. Unfortunately (and most boxers understand this) the only way to eliminate the possibility of the judges influencing the fight in the wrong way, is to stop your opponent.

    Teddy is the one guy that always embarrass himself when it comes to bad judging decisions.
    I have never seen anyone as emotional and vocal as Teddy when a decision is controversial, therefore im confused as to why he actually believes 117-11 is a fair assessment of the fight.
    Paulie talking out about bad decisions and that is a brave move, and if more fighters who were robbed did the same then at least there would be more real attention to the issue.
    ****ing Teddy Atlas getting it WRONG again

    @Forza

    When I watched the fight the first time, I thought it was a close fight, but I've watched it 3 times, and with each viewing the fight became more and more lopsided in favor of Broner. A lot of what Paulie did looked good, but was totally ineffective. Shoe-shinning looks good but Paulie's punches one, weren't really landing with any effectiveness, and two, the few he landed had no impact what-so-ever.

    Atlas echoed something I posted right after this fight in that, if this fight was based on an amateur scoring system, Paulie wins it going away, but this is the pros, and the punches have to be effective for them to count.

    Yes...Teddy is right...Paulie was ineffective the majority of the fight...he thought he could just throw a lot if punches and outwork Broner but he rarely landed any clean punches, and as stated above when he did they had absolutely no effect, at tines it seemed Paulie was very uncomfortable during the fight, was red and swollen, I ask thus, who would you rather had been in the fight, fir me it would be Broner who took virtually no damage but delivered hard shots that shook and snapped Paulie's head....

    Now if just throwing punches with no effect wins fights then yes he would have won on activity but 90% of his punches were useless...he won a few rounds early but lost the majority, Broner landed the cleaner, harder punches and was the aggressor...

    I wasn't that happy with Broners activity...thought he could have let his hands go more, and dished out more punishment...although Paulie is crafty and elusive, if Broner would have applied more pressure and stepped his workrate up he could have won more impressively...

    Teddy is wrong, and so is anyone else with that score.

    I assume Teddy has been paid, or warned, by the network. The media guys, on the other hand, probably just DKSAB.

    LMAO at people who think Broner's punches were "significantly" harder.

    Still, after the Cano gift, Paulie should know when to STFU.

    Teddy Atlas telling it like it is. Anyone who scored the fight in Malignaggi's favor should have their eyes examined.
