    7-5 Broner or 8-4

    Despite what some are saying Paulie did land some nice shots to the body and head with his combos...i thought Broner though was the fighter in complete control and landed a lot more harder clean shots....and he did stagger Paulie a little with a left hook i believe in one of the later rounds.

    I thought it was a good scrap but im confident Broner was clearly well should have been clearly the winner that night.

    Like I said in my previous post if this was amateur boxing Paulie wins in a landlord, but it's professional boxing, and power is taken into account.

    So your trying to tell me that even in amateur boxing a fighter can land to the shoulder and it's considered a scoring punch, GTFOH punches have to land on parts of the body that are considered scoring areas. What I meant by effect has more to do with the punch landing on a scoring part of the body, not the arms or shouwhere, where most of Paulie's punches were landing, they had no effect.

    The only error I made was stating a fighter can't win by going backwards, but let me go into more detail. There are very few fighters who can fight going backwards and win, Mayweather, and Cotto to name a few, but like I said, it gives the impression of the inferior boxer unless your landing more scoring punches than the fighter coming forward, which was'nt the case with Broner and Malinaggi. So not only did Malinaggi look like the inferior boxer by going backward, and not punching with any real effectiveness.

    People are letting their hatred of Broner cloud their judgement, Broner definately should have done more, but he still clearly won the fight , the man is a **** though

    actually if you think about it, amateur judges for some reason very rarely score body shots, and most of Pauls work was bodyshots(and even then a LOT of them were hitting arms) and the occasional scoring jab, so Paul may not have even won an amateur fight :lol:

    You could be right, I just think Atlas was right in his assessment of the fight.

    Yep, I would say since the 3rd round. I might could see giving Paulie rds 10 & 12 with of course the first 2. I personally had it 8 rds to 4, and thats being lenient. I could easily see Broner winning the last 10 rds
