Pernell Whitaker should always be mentioned in posts like this.

-Was part of one of the worst decision robberies in history with Ramirez.
-CLEARLY won vs Chavez, only to get a draw...which is also widely considered one of the worst robberies in history (and its A DRAW!!!).
-Lost a close decision vs DLH that many had him winning.

Arguably should have been undefeated going into the fight with Tito.

Had two close decisions go his way in the form of Wilfredo Rivera and Buddy McGirt, but a stronger case could be made FOR him in each, as opposed to against.

Another fighter that should be mentioned is Glen Johnson.

Sorry of topic - JMM vs PAC is just a little over two weeks away... in my list JMM tops the list (based on the feedback I got from the JMM fans themselves he was robbed 3x's!) I hope PAC win convincingly coz if he wins by SD only I would not be surprised that JMM fans will claim he was robbed again.

Congrats to WHOEVER will win. Be it JMM or PAC!

    back to topic..

    GLEN Johnson is worth mentioning

I think Casamayor is the ATR.
I admit Freitas was lucky to get the decision against him.

    SPOT ON MATE:happy

this is a very difficult subject to come to a conclusion on. In the early to mid part of last century, there were a few great boxer who got robbed in lots of fights that are not available for us to view

it would be better if we had a thread on greatest robberies of alltime

You're joking right. Winky got owned by Bhop. I 'm not even a Bhop fan and I thought Hopkins won easily. In fact, I bet Winky to unanimous decision Bhop and was pissed at Wright's effort in the fight.

Also Winky-Taylor was not a robbery either. I had Winky winning 7-5, but it was a close fight and in no ways should be considered a robbery

Walcott versus Louis. Louis even left the ring before the decision was announced because he knew he'd lost.
