When I'm sparring, I usually get stuck when someone uses shoulder rolls..I mean, I there isn't a place to hit because his body is covered along with his chin. Any tips against the shoulder roll defense? I GOT to get through that defense cuz I'm really getting irritated by that move..HELP!!
The shoulder roll usally means his left hand is down, here is an idea, Fire that Jab make him slip that, once you get his head slipping throw that left hook then the right hand, Jab, L Hook right hand, if you do it quick enough that right hand will land, also try a L Hook to the body and a Right hand up top, the way you deal with someone in this style is by throwing more than one or two shots at a time, the right hand is almost always there but you have to set it up by bringing the other mans attention to the left hand, then you sneak the right hand in.
i no bazooka is gunna get mad at me but i just like it throw hard rights to there shoulder and eventually they will get a dead arm or sometghing like that.
That is another way but your not doing much damage, what you can do however is Jab that left shoulder of theirs the hand landing on that side, when you do it correct can damage the Rotator cuff, if you land enough beleive me they will stop using that after a while, but my advice to you is as I always say, Throw combonations you will land them right hands and if he crosses that right hand over to block your right hand follow through with the left hook.
R u ****ing with me or do you not speak english? what country you from? http://www.emedx.com/emedx/diagnosi...ge_files/shoulder_images/model_1-shoulder.JPG
left hook, time them, watch roy jones vs james toney, jones was timing toney and making him roll onto his left hook.
turn southpaw and jab the head while moving to your right they are in the wrong position to defend and they are gonna get smacked but jabs
And while you're hitting that persons shoulder, he'll be countering on your chin. Guess which one will tire first. Dumbest tactic ever.
feint the right and hit him with a lefthook This content is protected here you see godoy doing everything wrong against louis and is about to be punished with a counter-right.
Take a deep step with your lead foot, then pivot toward your back. This will put you at an angle with a clear opening to his head and his feet will be squared off in reference to your new position. Good footwork will solve most problems you run into. Bob Barnum http://www.PittsburghBoxing.com
