    Agreed. Dirrell obviously faked his slip in Abrahams corner where Abrahams team had just soaked it witb water. No way would he stay in the contact zone with Abraham. No heart.

    Dirrell could be the best 168 pound fighter on earth, plenty to prove, and hasn't utilized his talent...but Ward is the only 168er Id favor over him and that's not by much. I understand the Euro's ridiculously hating him, as this is one of the few divisions they can cling to their favorites, but to deny Dirrel's ability is just idiotic.

    Oh and one more thing, in all seriousness...Dirrell beat the **** out of AA, and to deny that in any shape, form, or fashion is a disgrace. If you want to talk about the Froch fight, so be it...but he literally ****ed AA up, by any metric one could possibly use to score a boxing match.

    I don't have a gif but I'm pretty certain that there was a point in the Froch fight where Carl wound up to throw a punch and Dirrell actually just dropped to the canvass to avoid being hit. Never seen that in a boxing ring before or after.

    True . . . But Abraham was coming on stronger in the final rounds and was incorrectly denied knock down iirc (that right?). I was just disappointed the fight ended how it did. Had a nice flow to it.

    Could've, would've, should've... How long can Dirrell go on being (relatively) highly-regarded because of his potential rather than actually achieving anything?

    He was winning, no denying that. He was also caught clean and knocked down fair and square. I honestly don't think Dirrell has the mental fortitude to tough it out and endure the difficult moments. People criticise Froch for being limited but he doesn't quit. The Taylor fight, Froch was behind on the cards, and people like to say he only won because Taylor gassed, but he only 'gassed' because Froch never gave up. I wonder if Dirrell has peaked.

    How did Dirrell give up? His best rounds against Froch were rounds 10-11-12.:rofl


    He hurt Froch and Froch couldnt lay a hand on him.

    Is this what you tell yourselves to make reality go away?

    And Dirrell tripped over Abrahams foot as clearly shown from the aerial view and Abraham barely landed a punch before he hit Dirrell when he was down. Was that quiting lol
